Welcome to the Layton Marathon,where I play the 6 main games+ a rip off to the 100%! Starting chronologically,of course. The fourth Layton game has some kind of magic in a weird way. The game has way too many plots going on at the same time, but all of them feel rightfully done. The story is the usual nonsense Layton is known for,but at the highest level of the 4 games at this point,cause dinosaurs. Don't ask. The ending of the game is quite sad too, although that's also a given in Layton. The music is gorgeous,it's like an eargasm. The main theme and the last battle one are just peak music,and the whole OST is really memorable. The puzzles themselves are... Nice? I don't know how to criticize puzzles HAHAH some of them are extremely ease,some of them need lots of time to figure out. AND THEN THERE'S THE "MOVING BLOCKS" PUZZLES WHICH ARE THE NINTH CIRCLE OF HELL THEMSELVES. THEY'RE HIDEOUS. That being said,I have a lot of love for the game and the franchise in general,so I hope this marathon of mine motivates whoever is reading these to play these games,you won't regret it.
