2/5 ★ – PhatBaby's review of Chained in the Backrooms.

(Part of my noble quest to play every single Backrooms game on Steam) Hey, I had a good time out here. The chained-together mechanic barely works because it's first-person, so you have absolutely no clue where the other person is and can't correlate anything, but that was funny, so... yeah. Personally slighted though because the menu screen has Slenderman on it and I was like, oh damn, we're getting the drip king himself? Mr No-Face Zaddy is entering the chat? And then bro aired the entire game. Not a single Slenderman cameo. Who does he think he fucking is? Anyway, ranks high cause it was just a fun, broken little platformer, and the main characters had the most goblin-mode thousand-year stare I've ever seen. Also, my mate's ping was outrageously bad, and we skipped half a segment because, while lagging, we randomly teleported up this really annoying platforming segment, causing us to spend about ten minutes bragging about the "ping skip" and gassing our move tech. In the grand scheme of cheap Backrooms games, it gets a Fat Baby certified pass.
