3/5 ★ – Powereclair99's review of Battlefield 2042.

Its sad to write this review. As a huge battlefield fan I was really excited about this entry in the series. The trailers made it looked like everything we ask for but when the game came out it fell short. I am reviewing this game after update 3.2 but if I was going to review the game at lauch It would of been a 2/5. The game now is steady and really solid to play but where is the content. The game as been out since November and the battle pass hasn't been released yet and I like the weekly challenges are a fun challenge but that's not enough. The game is seriously lacking content and variety in weapons, like theres only one burst gun in the game as of right now but the worst thing is the rocket laucher omg it's awful to use, super slow to reload and in a game with alot of vehicular combat, this is unacceptable. Concerning the specialists im fine with it but they should rework the class system. Like maybe have only certain specialists able to have med box and other can have ammo box. Map wise I dont really like any maps, there's some I prefer over others but that's ls not saying alot. The saving grace of this game is portal mode not just because of the old battlefield but because of the gamemodes for 2042. Put it this way if there was not portals in bf 2042 I probably wouldn't be playing anymore. Anyways to conclude, do I think this can fix this game. Absolutely they showed to us countless time that they can flip a game around. Look at bf4, bf5 and battlefront 2, those games where terrible at lauch but they became good with time. But those this excuse the poor quality of the game at lauch no. Did they charge us full price for a incomplete game: yes, so that's why I'm giving it 3.5/5.
