I know this seems low for a mario game but hear me out. This is one of the most frustrating game I have ever played. The physics and movement are awful, the levels are fine but there's a few I really didn't like and the difficulty and the cryptic nature is aggravating. I was so frustrated at the end I was simply playing it out of will power. I didn't enjoy the water pack and the boat at the final stage omg the physics are sh*t. For positives I like the theme, the ocean resort destination is fun and a joy to be appart of. I loved how you really felt like you were on one big island. You really get that feeling because you can see the stages far in the distance if you look around. The music slaps, its pretty good. To conclude, I fking hate this game and I will never replay it. The frustration I went through just to finish it is outstanding. It's weird writing a bad review for a mario game but I hated this one sorry.
