3/5 ★ – Pugglesworth's review of High on Life.

High on Life lives and breathes off of the humor. The gameplay otherwise just consists of fighting off waves of enemies. That gameplay itself is obviously inspired by DOOM, but it doesn't achieve the momentum and variety that DOOM provides. The comedy is hit or miss. Sometimes the 'haha we're doing a video game trope' joke was cringeworthy, while other times hilarious. I particularly loved Tim Robinson's Creature who stole the show for me.
