5/5 ★ – RealOJ's review of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

I think it's unfair to call this "the best jRPG of all time" due to the fact of its recent release compared to others. I will say, however, that it is stunning in all ways. The active gameplay with QTE, dodging, and parrying makes grinding fights a joy. This gameplay is mixed with a potent story, humourous character interactions, stunning soundtrack, and fantastical world to be a standout game of 2025 and an amazing debut game for Sandfall Interactive. Ill be closely watching for their next title, whether it's set in the world of Clair Obscur or not
