Kind of the Morrison all star superman of yakuza games. A little too long honestly, but what’s here is phenomenal. Every set of chapters feels wholly unique, and the red heat meter moves make each combat style really stand out (akiyama is the best). The coolest final boss pre yakuza 0. If everything ended here I would’ve been fine with that. Love how mythical each protagonist feels and how they continue to in a near superhero fashion uplift a new set of characters (ie baba). What a great fucking game. + it has taiko no tatsujin
