5/5 ★ – RogsRadicalReviews's review of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Gameplay - 10/10: The pinnacle of turn-based combat now. Parrying is incredibly fun and rewarding and the QTE are effective at keeping the player engaged throughout all combat encounters. The game gets a little to easy near the end but is still incredibly fun. Story - 10/10: One of the best stories of all time from start to finish. The acting and motion capture are some of the best games have to offer. I would list some standout performances but every single actor and actress delivers wonderfully throughout the game. The endings are some of the best in gaming history. It isn’t often that a community is very divided on the better outcome. The ending provokes the most thoughts I’ve ever had from a video game. Music - 10/10: Competing with the Persona games for best OST of all time. Replayability - 6/10: replayable but not soon after completion. The gameplay is insanely fun though so that helps a lot. Not really meant to be that replayable though. Personal Thoughts - An absolute must play game for all gamers even if you don’t like turn-based combat. At least give it a try.
