Europa has a beautiful visual style, clearly inspired by Studio Ghibli, but it's not enough to elevate an otherwise very mediocre game. The controls feel half-baked and frustrating, the world feels claustrophobically small and not very open, and the camera is equally annoying to control. The story takes far too long to become interesting, and by the time something finally happened, I was halfway asleep.
