3/5 ★ – RubyMarlin38165's review of Mafia III: Definitive Edition.
Mafia III: Definitive Edition tells a great story set in the crime-filled streets of 1968 New Bordeaux. The characters, voice acting, and atmosphere are impressive, but the gameplay quickly becomes repetitive. Missions often follow the same pattern — taking down rackets, fighting similar enemies, and repeating tasks like interrogations and sabotage. While fun at first, this routine gets tiring as the game goes on. Despite its strong story and world, Mafia III can feel more like a grind than an exciting crime adventure. It’s still worth playing for the narrative, but don’t expect much variety in the gameplay.
