2/5 ★ – SIMONISPLAYING's review of Slime Rancher.

Thanks to Microsoft's Gamepass, I had the chance to take a closer look at this game. It's a really interesting game, especially since it has mechanics that are easy to understand, but still make a lot of things possible. On the other hand, that's about it, if there is a story, it's only told in a very rudimentary way, of course that's not necessarily the goal of the game but also the mechanics and the game world seems quite monotonous in the long run. Who liked the game so far, ultimately, however, I can no longer get myself up to actually finish it or continue playing. It was a nice experience as long as it lasted, but it's not a game you necessarily have to play now. From my point of view, it would have been better off if this had been more of a 4.5 or maybe even 10 hour game. The Slimes are cute but I'm just missing a bit of the other than to continue playing the whole thing, it's quite fun, but in the end already from the progress rather something one-
