3.5/5 ★ – SatinArmchair's review of Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Pokemon Ranger games feel like such a nice mix of the traditional Pokemon story and a random RPG game, and this one is my favourite of the two I've played. The gameplay in this instalment feels like it's reached the right level of polish. Battling Pokemon boils down to circling them with your stylus, being able to chain circles and charge your catch power, which ends up being surprisingly fun and easy to get the hang of. Being able to befriend and ride on the legendary dogs and fly around on Latios using their ranger signs is a great fun system, and it's super satisfying to draw the symbols fluidly. The story is awesome too, if a little cheesy; it's not often you get a super death laser machine in a Pokemon game. It's not a complicated story or game for the most part, but it's still very fun!
