2.5/5 ★ – SilverScroll's review of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.

I have no doubt that this is a well made game, but this is probably one of my most disappointing titles of the year. I will start by saying that the gameplay loop is good, tweaking different things about your mech and then taking that mech on a mission will be satisfying to you if you like mechs and click with the combat, which I didn't. To me it's just the textbook definition of boring, flying round visually identical skyboxes shooting your gun at enemies that struggle to differ over my 7 hours with the game. Narrative appears to be an afterthought and lacks the same initial intrigue that sparks curiosity like in other from soft titles. Visuals are the colour grey and litteraly nothing else, everything is grey the ground the mechs the buildings it's just not fun to look at and furthers how boring this game is to me. I didn't like this one, you probably will, this review was mainly just for me to vent.
