Ridiculously, unforgivably hard… at the start. I nearly gave up on this after dying to the first floor boss eight times in a row. But if you’re willing to dig in, learn the guns and train your dodge roll, you’ll find that this is one of the most satisfying shooters ever. After hundreds of hours played, my main issue is how much luck can make or break every individual run. There are some challenges and achievements that are nearly impossible only because the odds don’t line up in your favour. But even that starts to become a minor issue once you’ve gotten better at the game. This game is now one of my favourites, even if it took a lot of work to get there.
