4/5 ★ – SkRiT's review of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series.
What you doin' there, goofball?
After hearing those words at the end of the final season, I cried at the end of a video game for the first time in my entire life.
The final season gave me emotions I had never felt before at the end of any game. I've played a lot of "tear-jerker" games and it's never gotten to the point where I'm sitting in tears in front of my monitor completely devastated. All I can say is that overall all the seasons are good in their own way, but season five (may fans of season one forgive me) is probably the best for me. It's even more insightful when you learn the story behind the making of this season, that the studio went bankrupt at first and they didn't even have the money to finish the game. And because of that I just want to say a huge thank you to Skybound, they gave Telltale a budget so they could finish the story competently. Thanks to these two companies, we players got a decent ending to a story that lasted since 2012. Thank you
P.S and thank you that the game showed me that I am still a human being and not a stone. For I just sat there and cried.
