1/5 ★ – Sprinklyspark's review of Little Dragons Cafe.

I had low expectations going into it, but gave it a try despite all the negative reviews because the concept of cooking, exploration and raising a dragon sounded like the perfect formula for the cozy game genre. But alas, it fell short of being amazing, or even somewhat decent of a game. The game DOES NOT run smoothly on the Switch. There seems to be a slight delay when it comes to simple things such as walking around, which creates an uncomfortably choppy experience. There are tonnes of loading screens you have to sit through—every time you enter or exit the cafe (which you have to do a lot), a story scene, going up to your room, etc. The art direction of this game seems confused, and the final result is unappealing. I hate to say this about a game, especially knowing someone probably put a lot of time and effort into it regardless of the end product, but I would NOT recommend anyone pick up this game. Less than an hour in and already it’s in my abandoned list.
