4/5 ★ – Synergenesis's review of Taiji.

Taiji is the leading spiritual successor to The Witness - and that is not a title I give out lightly. In addition to doing its own takes on familiar mechanics, Taiji boasts a plethora of entirely new kinds of mechanics that somehow feel as though they have been sokoban staples from the very beginning. There are many reasons to praise this game, but one that I want to highlight is Taiji's ability to blend multiple puzzle types together into one puzzle in a way that is both fair and elegant. I didn't think any game would execute this as well as The Witness did, but here we are. Lighting struck twice.
