4.5/5 ★ – TalonJedi's review of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

First time I am replaying this in over a decade and it’s still just as amazing as the first and last time I experienced this noir war story that showcases the start of the Metal Gear series during the events of the Cold War. It is definitely my favorite Metal Gear game still to date next to MGS Twin Snakes and probably even supercedes that game in regards to the story and use of well writing in the secondary characters. The voice acting too is pretty great especially from the likes of Jodi Benson as Eva. If anyone has never played a Metal Gear Solid game I would highly recommend starting here as it is the definitive experience. Or just wait for Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta, the remake coming out August of 2025 because this game is simply superb.
