4/5 ★ – TheDirector's review of Cyberpunk 2077.

Okay so it’s been a while since I did one of these and my grammar might be bad but idc: *Spoilers for the main story obviously* To start things off I’d like to clarify that I’m playing on an older version of the game (1.61) since I’m on Xbox One. This game is honestly one of the best gaming experience I ever had. I don’t know when was the last time I had that much fun playing a solo game, even with the occasional bugs that made me load an older save to keep progressing. The story was extremely good and I was so invested in it that I finished it in less than a week. The characters were well fleshed out and the open world aspect of the game made me feel as if I had full control of the story. To be honest one of the main reason I played Cyberpunk 2077 was because of Keanu Reeves’s character and he did not disappoint. Johnny was hands down one of the best characters of the entire game and I actually wanted for both him and V to survive since I loved their friendship. Other notable characters were Panam and Judy. The reason I mention them is because I originally wanted to romance Judy but unfortunately learned that she was locked to the female V, so I ended up with Panam. The boss fights were pretty weak in my opinion as I didn’t die to any of them. I know that there’s multiple difficulties but even then they should be more difficult than random cyberpsychos. Oda? Used Guts (Rebecca’s shotgun) to absolutely annihilate him. Smasher? Went full ninja on him and killed him with almost only Oda’s katana. In the ending I got, "The Devil", V ends up getting rid of Johnny with the help of Arasaka but unfortunately they can’t do anything to stop what the Relic did to him and he only has 6 months left to live. On the other hand, Hanako manages to place Saburo’s engram in Yorinobu’s body thus making Arasaka even stronger. That ending was pretty good in my opinion because V gets to go unpunished for everything he has done during the game and he gain respect from Arasaka (he was corpo in the past). The only thing that bothers me with this ending is how V and Johnny don’t really end on good terms because as I’ve already said I loved their friendship. I think my rant is pretty much over because I do not have inspiration to write anymore :) Overall the game was very good but I just wished it had more post game stuff.
