3.5/5 ★ – TheGreatNomad's review of Fort Solis.
Indie studios are always experts at surprising us and Fort Solis does exactly that. The game is full of good ideas, surrounded by famous actors in the industry and a grand premise for games in the style of Until Dawn. Mars is a faithful representation of reality, bringing both the silence and darkness of space to the fear of the unknown to the immersive focused on the project. Roger Clark and Julia Brown's performance are incredible, they were phenomenal choices for the cast. However, the game suffers from the evils caused by ambitious independent studios. The game is poorly optimized, making the PS5 suffer in both quality and performance modes, bugs appear in every chapter and the photo mode suffers from the rendering of hair and other elements. It's an interesting project, but it was too ambitious.
