4/5 ★ – TheNameBrand's review of Marble It Up!.

Really addicting levels, extra satisfying marble physics, and endless restarts in attempt to get the perfect run make this a really fun time. It surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. NameBrand I'm a newcomer to this series, but I suppose I have dabbled in the genre a bit with the likes of Monkey Ball. I didn't have too many high expectations of it, but wow! It surprised me with how much fun I had with it. The only issues that I seemed to come across is... it loads quite slow on the switch. Going through the menus is kind of a slog. Not sure why. It does load full 3D models of the stages on the menu screen so maybe that's it? Also I do think there were a few times where the physics acted up and did something I thought wasn't fair? Or there was like weird collision. But overall, it was a really smooth experience. I'm not the type of person who "tries for world records" or anything, but I did find myself trying to get those platinum/ace ranks for each track. Some of the levels I played multiple times... just for fun. Especially the tracks that give you a dizzying sense of speed... Which strangely reminded me of the best of the 3D Sonic games lol. Really cool stuff. There's a wide variety of levels, I found myself stuck on a couple of difficult stages near the end there, but nothing completely unreasonable. I even think some of the weekly challenges are pretty accessible. But man. To master the "tech" of this game... and get some of those other marble colors and such... I have no idea. To really master this game... the skill ceiling is so high. Can't fathom it. It's crazy. I think some people will really get hooked on that. But if you're just casually coming in like me and hoping for a good time with some fun platforming with marble physics, you'll also have a good time. Definitely gets my recommendation.
