5/5 ★ – TheRealness408's review of Metal Max 2: Reloaded.

This game kicks so much ass it's hard to put into words. You just have to play it. This is the most fun turn based jrpg I think I've ever played. At the start of the game, you choose male or female and one of five classes. (You can eventually learn all of the classes as subclasses). You start off in a postapocalyptic world that was destroyed by the Noah computer. The computer has been executing a human extermination virus and humanity is almost extinct. You meet up with a group of bounty hunters to go kill Noah, but oh shit a mysterious group called the Grapplers shows up and kills the shit out of all your homies. There was a more important homie named Maria. You wake up and decide to finish the mission and go kick ass. From here, it's pretty much Breath of the Wild. You get an open world and its up to you to explore and figure out how to beat the Grapplers. Thats all the story, and that's all I needed. At this point, you go get some party members, get a dog, and go on one of the most awesome adventures in gaming. I liberated a town, turned a town into a ship, accidently became an accessory to murder on multiple occasions, got married (then reset because it ended the game), brought a family together for them to kill each other over a gold digger who I didn't give the money to, hunted dozens of monsters, customized 13 vehicles, helped a dude find top ramen, found way more awesome optional dungeons / quests than I can remember, and loved every second of it. This is straight up the best jrpg ever in terms of adventures and sidequests. I put well over 200 hours (on 4x speed) into the game, never felt like I was wasting my time, and was mad there wasn't more. This is easily a top 10 jrpg of all time, and honestly, it might be #4 on my list.
