The fact that this is the only Metal Max game we got in the west kind of annoys me. Yes it has the open world exploration, yes it has incredibly deep turn based rpg mechanics and customization. It just lacks the constant variety and high levels of charm that the first two Metal Max games brought. If I played this on release before the other games were accessible, I'd recommend it, but as of now, just play Metal Max 1 and 2.
