4.5/5 ★ – Titan_'s review of Half-Life.

In 1998, a little company called Valve released their debut game called Half-Life. This game would not only set the new standard for action games for years to come, it also will skyrocket Valve into what it became today. I played Half-Life for the first time and I see why this game is put on as high of a pedestal as it is. The story is quite interesting and I love how the controls feel. It's almost like you are roller skating around as you take down enemies. The game doesn't hold your hand either. You are given a problem and it's up to you to determine how to solve it which I really liked. I felt the final boss could have been done a bit differently to make it more interesting but overall this game was a fun time and I definitely recommend it.
