3/5 ★ – Titan_'s review of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is sadly not what the Metroid Prime games are known for. It feels like such a big departure from what makes just a Metroid game a Metroid game. I wasn't that in love with the level design and puzzles and it didn't feel like Metroid because I felt like I was constantly being railroaded by NPCs. Each area felt like its own contained dungeon rather than a sprawling connected map like other Metroid games. I'll say I did very much enjoy the music just like every other Metroid game and the designs of enemies in the environment was also stunning as well. Sadly though, this game just doesn't live up to the bar that Metroid Prime in its sequel set when they released.
