2.5/5 ★ – TripleLSupreme's review of Not Tonight.
This game is often compared to Papers Please. Its execution falls a little short in meeting those expectations.
The largest faults I see in this game are the poorly layed out UI and the urgency lacking. Dialog messages will often get in the way of trying to inspect items. Selecting something that is wrong on an object has no real effect as you can decline without doing that (not sure why they even bothered). The story is a bit too lighthearted and doesn't feel like anything is really that urgent.
The game ending up being a slog and it doesn't allow you to become efficient at your job like Papers Please did. I have more issues with the game but the ones mentioned earlier are the main ones.
