5/5 ★ – Trogdon's review of BioShock.

I played this game originally at launch and was not a fan. I decided to give it another go this year and I am glad I did. The direction in this game is outstanding. Between the art, the narrative, and the combination of gameplay genres, Bioshock really is the full package. For the time this came out, it really is an immense effort and such a fully realized concept. I have a few nitpicks here and there, but overall the sheer excellence of how everything ties together overshadows any quirks. If you are like me and you have somehow missed this, absolutely give it another try. This stands among the best first person games ever created.
