3.5/5 ★ – Tye_Boy's review of Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Since Nintendo did not include Super Mario Galaxy 2 in 3D All-Stars, I chose to finally play through it myself, via a Wii virtual console version on Wii U. To sum it up, Galaxy 2 is just... more of Galaxy. The same fun gameplay is there, which is expanded upon through some unique level design and ideas strewn throughout the entire game. Visually, it looks great! The orchestral score is just as splendid as Galaxy 1. Story-wise, it’s nothing special. Not just because it’s a Mario game, but also because the story is essentially a retelling of Super Mario Galaxy. It likely won’t be as well-remembered as other Mario games, for me at least. If you want more fun Mario gameplay, this will do. Just don’t expect a whole lot else.
