3.5/5 ★ – WizzNova20502's review of Assassin's Creed: Unity.

Assassin's Creed Unity is a game with so much untapped potential. From Arno as a protagonist, his and Elise's unique dynamic as an Assassin and Templar, the story of corruption and order; how the French Revolution is a perfect timeframe to tell that kind of story and how it should've been connected more to the narrative and maybe even Arno himself, the multiplayer and open world activities, the more challenging combat and bigger focus on stealth. It is a good game for the most part. The combat is some of the best of the series, the stealth is actually somewhat assassin like, the world is gorgeous, some side missions are entertaining and murder mysteries are always intriguing, customization is at its peak in the series with many choices, Arno is kinda cool and it feels like the last Assassin's Creed that really just focuses on the Brotherhood instead of having a gimmick and slapping Assassins and Templars on it. It is still a little glitchy to this day, with frame rate drops, crashes, freezing in place etc. However for all its worth, this isn't a bad game. It's solid. But it could've been so much more.
