4/5 ★ – Yansergamer94's review of Pokémon Stadium.

Pokémon Stadium may be a very flawed game, but it's a game i love despite those flaws. All of the main Pokémon from the first generation are here and they have pretty detailed models for N64 standards, the songs are kinda acceptable, but it also has amazing sound effects and a infectiously lively announcer, the adaptation from the GB combat was good, the minigames are extremely fun and the Transfer Pak was well utilized. But on the other hand, the backgrounds are boring, most of the content is locked behind the Transfer Pak, combat is unbalanced (hi Wrap!) and there isn't much to do outside of battles. The game may have some serious flaws, but i still love it because of my nostalgic immunity. Pros: All of the 151 Pokémon are here and have detailed models, quite good soundtrack, the combat from the GB games was well adapted, the minigames are a great distraction and the Transfer Pak's use was interesting... Cons:...But the backgrounds are boring and most of the content is inaccessible without the Transfer Pak, combat is still unbalanced and there isn't much to do outside of battling.
