3/5 ★ – ZombiePanda's review of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

I think this game gets more hate than it deserves. It’s not Batman: Arkham, it’s its own unique blend of open world traversal looter shooter. Each character has unique weapon styles, traversal mechanics, and skill trees. Unfortunately the combat is so cookie cutter basic that nothing ever felt all that different. The hardest part about the game is there are just so many particle effects, UI, and shit on screen all at once it’s hard to see what is actually happening. I liked the story, the cutscenes were expertly animated and I found myself chuckling a lot at the gags and callbacks through out. If the suits at WB would have allowed Rocksteady to leave the live service game behind and focus more on a tight co-op experience I think this game could have out done Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. (P.s. the Deathstroke dlc character is dope and definitely had the best traversal.)
