4/5 ★ – __griffon__'s review of Lego Batman: The Videogame.

One of the first Lego games and it isn't just nostalgia, this game is special. The simplicity of the roster not being 100s of characters large is focused on quality over quantity. Each character has unique abilities and animations. The story is fun and features various Batman villains and characters. The no talking aspect of it is the most iconic part about these early Lego games. It adds some charming cut scenes that can end up being goofy in all the best ways. Overall, the game is obviously not super in depth gameplay wise due to its release date and target audience but if you're a fan of Batman I would recommend it. Seeing familiar faces and playing through iconic locations and sequences in Lego games is always while I enjoy them.
