2.5/5 ★ – as_aabstract's review of Forklift & Box.

Forklift & Box is a top-down platformer by David Roberts from the publisher Roberts Arts. You play as a forklift, your objective is to work your way through a maze and push red boxes into the goal at the end of maze. You are given sixty seconds to achieve this objective. It a very charming game, the graphics are reminiscent of the flash games you would find on websites like Game Fudge back in the day. I only discovered the game on Steam because a friend was looking for a Forklift simulator game to play after getting a job as a forklift driver. I jokingly recommended them this game. In my six minutes of playing this game, I almost bet the first level. I was two boxes deep out of three, but couldn’t move the third box in with 5 seconds I had left. In my 3rd and 4th try of the level, I kind of just messed around. I realised that every time you charged into a red box your score goes up and every time you touch a purple box your score goes down. So for the 3rd try I wanted to see how low I could get my score, then did the opposite in 4th try. Must of got roughly 700/-700 in both tries. In the fifth and six attempt I actually did try, though I still couldn’t get the red boxes in the goal on time. I believe in attempt six I accidently blocked off the path so I could not progress. It’s a fun game to play for a couple of minutes, pretty much what you expect from a game titled “Forklift & Box”.
