An absolutely bleak, beautiful, gut wrenching game. The ending alone is one of the most sad yet also hauntingly beautiful endings I’ve ever witnessed. Charlotte McBurney is an absolute revelation in this. She portrays Amicia’s grief yet determination so damn well here. Gameplay is solid….love how we can control hordes of rats this time. Something weirdly satisfying about taking out so many enemies with them….even if it s horrifying knowing a child is controlling them. Only real complaint I have is it’s kind of annoying that the game on consoles is locked at 30fps. It doesn’t take away from the overall experience, but it would be nice to experience higher performance rate for the PS5. But overall….just another incredible achievement from Asobo. Would really be curious where they go next with this series given the ending, if at all.
