4.5/5 ★ – baldoXER's review of Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Beaten on 01/11/2025 (over 65 hours playing)
I got a used Switch on December 9 (my first Nintendo console ever), and the same day one friend borrowed it to me in order to let me also check the game card reader (I will opt for digital games to purchase here even if it's not the best option for the big N games).
Three Houses is a solid turn based JRPG set in a fictitious world where few rival nations are in contrast but shares the same religion; it reminded me a lot the Papal States periods in Italy during the late Middle Ages.
Game is fan and due my love for Civilitation series games I kinda lost on it. I never felt the need to check articles for hints, secrets or gameplay but to be honest I got too late how to deal with the week system optional quests, activities or romance (I got it checking one of the characters names with a search in the web lol and my choice was Petra).
It's long as any JRPG, and it's highly replayable due the initial choices, the turn based system, and the incremental difficulty.
