4/5 ★ – benhmedia's review of Poco.

This surreal and lovingly-crafted point & click adventure is, hands-down, one of the best free games I’ve ever played. And yes, I truly mean no-strings-attached free: no ads, no micro transactions, no DLC. An absolute hidden gem on Steam. You play as a cute little CGI clown, Poco, navigating beautiful and trippy hand-painted landscapes. Poco has been unfairly kicked from the circus in the sky, and needs to help out the local creatures of the land below in order to build a rocket and get back up. The whole game is very short and silly - one could easily beat it in a single sitting - but every aspect about it was clearly made with artistry and care. It strikes a good balance between cute, creative, and just slightly eerie. The music definitely helps with that; the sound design is very satisfying as well. I had a better time with this than another recent point & click game I played, and I paid $18 for that one. Again, this game is free. If you’re a fan of the genre, absolutely make a point to play this one soon!
