Beaten 31/12/2021 on the PlayStation 5 using Backwards Compatibility. Okay. Now that I reviewed the good game I played recently. Now time for the bad game I played recently. My Friend Peppa Pig is not good. Okay, I get that I’m 17, soon to be 18. So this game isn’t targeted towards me. But. I don’t even think kids can enjoy it. So the story is there isn’t one. You basically create a character, go through the basic tutorial. Like walking up to a fence and pressing the X button to open it. And going up to a character and pressing X to talk to them. That’s all well and good. But as soon as you meet Peppa, that’s it. The story fucks off into another planet. You aimlessly wonder around a FEW of the shows areas like the park, school, Peppa house, granny and grandpas house, the beach, the forest, the museum and a snowy mountain all trying to interact with things that could actually do something. And every so often if you do something right. You get a trophy. And since I spent £26 on this. I wanted the platinum. And even I struggled with some trophy’s because the game has no sense of direction. I didn’t know you could go down a hill because it prevents you from the other side. Anyway. As soon as you earn every Trophy. You get to go to Potato City. Which I really hyped up. But I got disappointed. I got the trophy outside. But I still decided to play on and see what was in there. And I got to go on three rides before the games “ending” kicked in. And after the ending. You get no credits. Just thrown back out there with nothing to do because you’ve done everything. So. If I disliked this so much, why 1.5 stars? Well. Because I discovered the most comedic thing ever. In the settings there’s a “parental controls” option. And according to the description. “Peppa will end the play time when the time is up” so. I set my parental controls to every 5 minutes. Meaning that as soon as I completed an activity. Peppa got too fucking tired so Mummy and Daddy pig had to pick her up and take her to bed. And I just slept with her. I went through at least an in game week or two. And my parents never came to find me…
