An excellent continuation of the franchise. It was from the era where SIXAXIS controls were all the rage - luckily you could turn those off though! The weapon upgrade system is great - I appreciated the additional weapon progression aside from the weapon experience levels. Having the ship levels on rails was silly though. And also I have to mention how the character's origins were retconned... and Angela doesn't exist? Also in general I felt the story was a bit aimless, and somewhat pedantic. The new characters were a ton of fun though, love the bot companions, pirates and Tachyon made me chuckle.
