4/5 ★ – blackade2000's review of PaRappa the Rapper 2.

Loved it, it was such a good time. There's 2 more levels and a bit more stuff to do, more characters, more world-building. This time there's also an actual plot and it helps bring out the quirkiness and humour that fits the series. The music is not as good as the first game, definitely not as memorable, but the songs are still great, it's really funky/jazzy, amazing. The graphics are technically improved, and while they're still interesting they're not as iconic as the previous game imo. The gameplay itself is also richer and harder than the first game, but it's also a bit too forgiving (fucked it up so bad many times but the game still gave me a pass no matter what). All in all PTR2 is not just a great game, but a great sequel, which is something that's much harder to achieve usually. TOAST THAT BUN.
