3.5/5 ★ – brudanos's review of Gorogoa.

Gorogoa was a surprisingly well designed puzzle/narrative. Many will pick it up for the easy platinum, one that can be achieved in 30 - 60 minutes but in turn, they will discover a beautiful hand drawn story with puzzles that challenge your perspective. The game story unfolds in one of 4 squares on your screen where you will be able to slide panels to add/remove layers to move the story forward. By scrolling, zooming in/out and rearranging the panels you will be able to move your character forward or reach the next objective. It really is a creative mechanic that challenges you to "think outside the box", almost literally to complete the puzzle. To top it off, Garagoa has a beautiful narrative that takes you on a spiritual journey that complements the puzzles of the game. Trophies: Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 1 hour Trophy Guide: Recommended This trophy list, although small, is full of missable trophies. The best thing to do is watch a YouTube guide and follow the steps one by one. If this is a game you enjoy and want to challenge yourself with, I would recommend you beat the game once and then use a guide during your second run to achiever the Platinum. Your Platinum run shouldn't take more than 30 minutes since there is a trophy for beating the game in less than 30 minus and another for beating it in less than 500 moves. On my first run I was able to complete the game in 25 minutes and earn all the trophies except for beating the game in less than 500 moves. With the experience from the first run, I was able to complete my second run under 500 moves and in 21 minutes.
