What a pleasant surprise this was back when I needed a new GameCube game and Luigi’s Mansion was on sale. I assumed it wouldn’t be up to the level of quality a normal Mario title is, but I ended up having a memorable experience that’s stuck with me all these years later. This was the foundation for giving Luigi his own franchise, one that was as unique as it was successful.
