Double Dash was ahead of the game man. What a unique concept that actually resulted in a better game. The characters and tracks were plentiful and of high quality. The glow up from Mario Kart 64 was truly something to behold. Part of me wants to say this is my favorite Mario Kart, but I think Mario Kart 8 surpassed it in just about every conceivable way. Even still, the two person vehicle concept gives us a strong reason to go back and revisit it. The GameCube had some really incredible games.
