If someone was to ask me ‘if you had to play one mobile game for 24 hours straight what would it be’ or ‘if you had to talk about one subject for 24 hours straight what would that be’ bloons is a really good contender for both. The first is a definite yes, the second is in the conversation and a yes for some people. Im not a huge fan of monkeys, and i know people dont go to a zoo and on the way there say ‘i cant wait to see the monkeys’ unless theyre 5 and think monkey means penguin (because theyre actually goated). But this game changed my opinion. With the varied categories of monkeys and upgrade paths and maps, there are so many strategies that you can try out. I think that bloons in its most raw form is the epitome of the monkeys true potential. Just look at benjamin, hes an advanced hacker. Or the sniper monkey, an absolute crackshot that has never once missed a bullet. This is what balloons were made for. When i load up bloons i think this must be what it was like to walk into a roman coliseum to see an army of gladiators taking their stance towards the gates. And then to hear the crowd roar as they let out the first victim of the gladiators, and then another and another. And the things you can make in the game. Under the correct circumstances, you can make a maxed out dark sun god. That makes a B.A.D look like the coughing baby in the hydrogen bomb question.
