5/5 ★ – comfysofa's review of Wii Sports.

Still holds up. Every sport except boxing is worth replaying over and over and would get five stars. Tennis: The most popular for a reason. The revolutionary motion controls are put on display in a fun competitive and minimalist masterpiece. Baseball: The hardest one for single player. At the higher difficulties it is almost realistic trying to swing at pitches with different velocity and curve. Bowling: This one was my favorite as a kid and still holds up. It displays how precise the motion controls can be. Golf: Golf game mechanics have been relatively untouched since before the wii. Power, angle, club, wind, topography. The revolution is once again in the motion controls, where the power comes fully from the swing. Boxing: 3.5 stars. The replay value is lower. However, it showcases the nunchuck and its motion control capabilities. It has also given us some good meme material. Training games: five stars for all of them including boxing. They are creative, fun, and challenging. They add some video game flair to the title.
