My absolute favorite survival game. It’s got an aesthetic about it that is unmatched in many ways. Despite its more cartoony block like art style it can give you that feeling of chilliness while playing that makes you want to wrap up in a warm blanket. It’s a great game to be played with your friends that does survival mechanics in a smart and fun way. It’s challenging and unforgiving at times, every new area is a repeated kick to the groin until you finally crawl your way into newer stronger gear and better food. Its combat at times leaves a bit to be desired (like the direction and how certain weapons hit), but it’s sense of exploration especially when sailing make this game unforgettable.
