5/5 ★ – deddiemunster's review of Death Stranding.

Welp. I am both happy and sad to announce that, after a total of 60 hours, I've finally completed Death Stranding. I am... at a loss for words, to be honest. I never anticipated it'd have such a profound effect on me, yet here I am, ugly crying while I type this and the credits roll. Hideo Kojima is a God. The man can do no wrong. His wholly unique style and sense of humor permeate nearly every aspect of this game. But for every "Princess Beach" moment (iykyk), there are moments of surprising, heart-wrenching tragedy. And there are so, so many beautifully complex characters. They and this game will live in my mind forever. I'm almost positive it's beat out The Last of Us Part II as my favorite game of all time, at this point. (Idk, tho, I really love TLOU2.)
