5/5 ★ – elk's review of Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure.
this game gives me the same fanboy joy that the lego batman and lego dc supervillains games give me. When I searched up "Azrael" in the search and it asked me do you want Jean Paul Valley or Michael Lane I was clinically dead from happiness for 3 minutes. But then god brought me back so I can finish this game. They really went ALL OUT on the DC feel. All these different cities, obscure characters and things, it really lived up to my hopes. Setting aside the DC theme, it delivers on its concept of magic notebook bringing anything you want. You also have this heavens door Rohan Kishibe ass power where you can just add adjectives to anyone. Fighting superboy prime? Make him sleepy. Instant win! but its not about winning, it's about doing it creatively. The game encourages that by giving you bonus reputation with creative answers and takes away points for boring things like making the enemy "nonexistant"
It's also the best death battle simulator. Here were some of my favourite matchups
God v. Batcow
(winner: undecided, I felt bad for batcow so i made him immortal)
Cthulu v. Spider
(winner: cthulu)
Dark Knight Returns Batman v. Larfreeze
(winner: DKR Batman)
Terry McGinnis Batman v. Atrocitus
(winner: Terry McGinnis batman, somehow)
