3/5 ★ – erishkab's review of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.

I finished watching Clone Wars earlier this year, so it seemed necessary to play through the Lego version of the show as well. As with all Lego games, Lego Clone Wars was light-hearted, fun, and pleasantly simple. Every Lego game brings about a sense of nostalgia to my early gaming days, in which I would curl up on the couch with my dad as we played through a Lego game together using the co-op feature. Despite being fun, there were some major aspects of this game that kept it from being great. 1. The game was made tragically too soon. Since Clone Wars was still airing when the game released, the content for the game came from earlier seasons… and just like the earlier seasons of the show, the game felt disjointed and all over the place. Not to mention, the strongest storylines in the show weren’t present in the game. Imagine what could have been if the game’s creators had waited just two years: Maul. 2. The ground and space missions were repetitive , exhausting, and (unfortunately) necessary to 100% the game. I finished them, but they were not particularly fun and brought nothing special to the game.
