Very solid port, more PS3/PS2 games need this treatment just to be playable on modern systems. Graphics are improved, but it's definitely more of a tune-up than a full on remaster. The games looked fantastic on PS3, but look like great looking PS3 games - not PS4 games - on PS4. They have the same issues the base games have, mainly too many gunfights when that’s not the trilogy’s strongest suit (these aren’t remakes), but they’re still great games to begin with. They run much smoother, though. There's also a few glitches here and there that I don't remember from when I played back on PS3. Besides the performance boost, there are new trophies, re-rendered cutscenes, and 2 new difficulties. All in all a great bargain for the best way to play 3 excellent games. Besides the bugs there isn't much more to ask for.
