3.5/5 ★ – gabicus's review of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Extraction.

I think a lot people will overlook R6 Extraction in comparison to the excellent R6 Siege. They’ll see it as a glorified copy and paste job and not give it a chance, which is fair. But there’s people like me who never played Siege but always wanted to. That audience will find that Extraction is actually a great co-op game, one that lives up to the R6 mantle. I played a little over 15hours of this with two of my good friends and I can say that was more then enough for me to get what I wanted out of this experience. When we started this game we were laughably bad. But over time we got better and by the end we were a well oiled machine, getting in and out of missions without so much of a scratch. The tactical combat is really fun and you’re given a lot of tools to cooperate, our favorite being the recon drone. Progression is fine, not stellar but enough to make me work towards one or two Operators. I could totally play another 10hrs of this game. The gameplay loop is really satisfying and I loved the dynamic of our squad. On Gamepass, it’s easy to recommend this one.
